Louis Drax, what a boy
I really, really enjoyed this book.
I really liked how the reader is thrown into the story and has to rely on Louis and Dr Dannachet to find out what is happening. And both offer only part of the story - the Doctor because he doesn't know more, Louis because he doesn't want to tell more.
Louis is an intriguing protagonist - at first I thought he was just an annoying little asshole (sorry not sorry) but as the story progresses he started to grow on me (and I started to understand him a little).
After a while I had my suspicions about what was going on but I stayed strong and didn't read the end :)
I loved the mounting sense of foreboding and threat. Lovely read.
