I liked this; I liked Matt Haig's way of approaching this. He starts with his personal experience and doesn't sugarcoat anything.
This is interspersed with short chapters about various aspects: strategies, self help, reasons to stay alive.
I liked it - but for one thing: the author says he's not anti-medication but he's not really unbiased either. And while it's fine that he managed without meds there is already more than enough stigma on needing medications.
A good book to give to family and friends of people with anxiety and depression.
